Anaheim Stadium and Honda Center: Event-Day Guide

Angel Stadium and Honda Center are distinct venues, so start with the event listing to confirm where you need to go. Angel Stadium is a ballpark; Honda Center is an arena, and its event information covers a range of events.

For Angel Stadium, the Los Angeles Angels’ official ballpark guide is the reference for policies and procedures. Honda Center publishes event details and venue rules through its own official channels. The two venues are close to the same regional transport point: ARTIC is next to Angel Stadium and directly across from Honda Center.

That makes ARTIC a useful location to identify when comparing the venues, but it doesn’t replace checking the address and entry details for your specific event.

Check the venue’s official event listing to confirm the event, date and ticket details before planning your trip. Schedules and event-specific instructions can differ, so use the listing for the venue you’ll attend rather than relying on a general Anaheim calendar.

For Honda Center, the venue advises guests to arrive at least 60 minutes before the event. Its parking locations open three hours before the start time shown on the ticket. If you’re coordinating transport or timing with a separate Anaheim visit, check the event information before setting out.

Honda Center bag limits depend on the event, and every guest goes through screening before entry. At Anaheim Ducks games, bags and purses must be no larger than 4 in. x 6 in. x 1.5 in.; clear bags have the same limit, and backpacks are prohibited.

For non-Ducks events, the limit is 5 in. x 9 in. x 2 in., with one bag per guest and no backpacks.

Medical-item and diaper bags up to 12 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. are allowed with additional screening and inspection. Honda Center does not offer bag check. All guests pass through Evolv Express screening, and some may be directed to secondary screening.

The arena provides wheelchair-accessible and companion seating on each level, including the floor when floor seats are offered for an event. Check the venue’s current event information for details that apply to your visit.

ARTIC is the key transport reference between the two venues: it is directly across from Honda Center and next to Angel Stadium. The regional hub serves Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Metrolink, as well as bus services.

Visit Anaheim identifies OCTA Route 50 on Katella Avenue as providing direct access to Disneyland Resort and ARTIC. For other ways to get around, this guide to Anaheim public transport covers the local picture.

Honda Center says general parking in its onsite lots and garages, including Katella Garage and Cerritos Garage, is included with event tickets available through its events page; a separate general parking pass is not required. The parking locations open three hours before the event start time printed on your ticket.

For rideshare or taxi pickup and drop-off at Honda Center, the venue identifies ARTIC, at 2626 East Katella Avenue, as the location to use. Douglass Road between Katella Avenue and Stanley Cup Way is permanently closed, so follow the venue’s current directions when approaching by car.
